Tentamus LAB reinforces its drinking water accreditation
Tentamus LAB obtains ENAC accreditation for new testing methods, offering more than 90% of the accredited parameters required for drinking water by RD 3/2023.
Tentamus LAB remains firmly committed to quality and continuous improvement in all its analytical services. As a result of this commitment, the laboratory has recently obtained ENAC accreditation for new testing methods for drinking water and inland waters, developed by the laboratory's various technical departments.
With regard to drinking water quality control, the laboratory has obtained accreditation for more than 90% of the parameters established in Royal Decree 3/2023, complying with the requirement indicated in Annex III, part B.2, which establishes that all analytical methods must be accredited according to the UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard before 2 January 2028.
The new accredited parameters are as follows:
· Acrylamide (≥ 0.03 µg/L)
· Sum of 20 PFAs (≥ 0.025 µg/L)
· Sum of 5 haloacetic acids (HAAs) (≥ 5 µg/L)
Tentamus LAB has also extended its accreditation for the analysis of metals in fruit and vegetables, incorporating the determination of nickel from 0.050 mg/kg, in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2024/1987.
